Design Photography Vs. Real Estate Photography

Does anyone else get tired seeing the same wide angle, HDR, unrealistic photos on Zillow listings? I do too! I always have to look at the house with a mind filter on because that is not how the actual house feels and looks. My goal in design and editorial home photography is different —

I desire to create an inviting feel when photographing homes. One that enables a person to feel the warmth of the home. One that invites you to look further, explore more, and show up to see the house in person. Isn’t that the goal in the listing photos anyway? To get potential buyers in the house to see and feel it for themselves?
